A young Keighley artist is celebrating winning a television drawing and colouring competition.

Seven-year-old Amina Touray was rewarded with toys and a certificate after entering the competition run by Channel 5’s Milkshake!

Mother Sarah Touray said: “Amina had to draw her favourite character doing something helpful, so she drew Peppa Pig helping her little brother George crossing the road.

“She won a range of toys and her name and picture is on the Milkshake website. She’s chuffed to bits.”

Amina is a pupil at Eastburn Junior and Infant School.

A spokesman for the competition organisers said: “Everyone here at Milkshake! thought Amina’s picture was superb.”
