Several drivers, most of them parents on the school run, have been given tickets for dangerous parking at a busy Bradford junction.
Police held a traffic crackdown at the junction of Killinghall Road and Leeds Old Road due to a number of road-safety concerns raised by worried members of the public.
Officers were told drivers were contravening direction arrows and passing them on the wrong side of the carriageway, putting pedestrians and other drivers at risk of being hit by a car.
Tickets were issued for traffic offences and drivers were given advice regarding the dangers they posed by conducting these types of manoeuvres.
Police said most of the offending drivers were parents running late while taking their children to local schools.
