Amateur cyclists in Bradford are being urged to sign up for the “ultimate pro-rider experience” – the NSPCC’s Tour of Yorkshire.

The two-day, 180-mile, multi-stage, professional cycling experience will take in some of Yorkshire’s most beautiful countryside, and will include closed road sections and timed hill climbs.

Riders will get a pre-event programme of training rides coaching sessions, goody bag and jersey before being grouped by ability for the tour.

The tour, which is supported by British Cycling, has been organised by cycling events company Ride2Raise.

Richard King, of Ride2Raise, said: “This is a premium event with a completely unique format within the UK sportive scene – and customisable entry means riders can choose whether they race or ride, and whether they self-fund or fundraise.
