A Cononley nursery has been rated good by Ofsted inspectors.
Stepping Stones, based in the village institute, was praised for meeting the individual care and learning needs of each child.
“The children are happy, interested and eager to try new experiences,” said inspector Amanda Forrest. “They make good progress in their learning and are supported by well-skilled staff.”
She added that the staff had a highly effective information sharing system with parents and the local school and carefully tracked children’s development.
She highlighted two areas for improvement - to extend children’s creative skills and to strengthen the use of the outdoor environment.
Nursery owner Jo Clark said: “We've worked really hard to make the nursery and out of school club the success it is.”
