Few people would associate hairdressing with the Yorkshire countryside – but European students welcomed to Keighley have done exactly that.
They have used the landscape which captivates so many artists and writers as inspiration for some extremely novel hairstyles.
As part of a project called BRAID, hosted by Keighley Campus Leeds City College, the students took to the salon to create “avant-garde” hairstyles based on the distinctive shape of a ram’s horns.
The continental visitors joined students from Leeds City College’s own Level 3 hairdressing programme.
