The inquest into the death of a teenager who died from a suspected drug overdose is due to open today.
Joe Alexander Preston died on Sunday morning at Bradford Royal Infirmary following a night out in Leeds with friends.
The 17-year-old, of Wheatley Lane, Ben Rhydding, Ilkley, had been celebrating a friend’s 18th birthday and was at a house in Baildon when he became ill.
Deputy Bradford Coroner Oliver Longstaff is due to open the inquest at Bradford Coroner’s Court.
The case is expected to be adjourned pending a police investigation surrounding his death.
Two men, both aged 18, have been bailed after being arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs in connection with the inquiry.
