Bradford residents can now have their say on plans to create a £29 million cycle super-highway between the city and Leeds.

A consultation on the Bradford section of the City Connect project is under way. It is looking at the possible cycle route between the city centre and Thornbury, including Gain Lane and Dick Lane, as well as layout of junctions, parking, access, and safety for cyclists, pedestrians and other road users.

There will be five public consultation events, starting tomorrow at the Karmand Centre, Barkerend Road, between 4pm and 8pm.

The other four are: Thornbury Centre, Saturday, 10am to 2.30pm; Karmand Centre on Tuesday, 4pm to 8pm; Bradford Cathedral on Wednesday, March 19, noon to 2.30pm; and Bradford Cathedral again on Friday, March 28, 6pm to 9pm.
