Efforts to support voluntary and community groups in Keighley will be discussed by councillors.

Keighley Area Committee will receive a report on the work of Keighley and Ilkley Voluntary and Community Action (KIVCA).

KIVCA has 80 members, who are almost entirely local groups, and runs the Central Hall community centre in Alice Street. It provides groups with advice, helps develop new activities and aims to give a strong voice to the voluntary sector.

Committee members will hear details of recent work in areas including Lund Park, Hainworth Wood, Lawkholme, Exley Head and Long Lee.

Workers have also supported regeneration projects such as Keighley Big Local and Community First.
