The Welcome Project has received a £71,000 windfall from a charity that has disbanded.
The project will spend the cash on its activities to support older people across the Keighley area.
The money comes from Bradford Mental Health Association which has long provided accommodation for men with mental health difficulties.
Welcome Project spokesman Shona Grange said some of the men were elderly and had moved into residential care, while others now lived in the community.
She said: “The charity wanted money from the sale of the house to go to causes that support people with needs around mental health and learning disabilities.”
The Welcome Project runs activities that enable older people to share their skills and help each other, including the Not Over The Hill Yet! social club in Haworth.
