Yorkshire Greenspace Alliance will hold a meeting to discuss public responses to a consultation about a Bradford Council planning document.

The meeting is to discuss the Bradford Core Strategy document, as it is out for consultation and responses need to be made to Bradford planning department by Monday, March 31.

The meeting will be held on Saturday at Menston Methodist Church Hall, Main Street, Menston between 10am and noon.

Dr David Ingham, of Wharfedale and Airedale Review Development, said: “According to this document, Bradford is aiming to build 42,100 houses across the Bradford Metropolitan district between now and 2028.

“It is intended to build at least 11,000 of these on greenbelt sites in Wharfedale whilst many acres of brownfield land in the city centre are ignored.”
