A series of evening courses is being staged at Keighley’s Fab Lab Airedale, in Dalton Lane.

Courses on offer include hand embroidery and sewing, which will begin on Thursday; digital photography, starting on Tuesday, March 18; flower arranging, from April 3; life fitness, from April 7, and programming Raspberry Pi, from April 9.

Chris Stott, for Fab Lab, said: “We want to ensure we serve a purpose to the people of Keighley and its surrounds so that Fab Lab continues to be heavily used and we welcome feedback from the community in relation to this.”

And an Easter boot camp is being held – from April 7 to 11 – for 16-to-18-year-olds, as part of a bid to get more young people interested in engineering and enterprise.

The courses lasts 18 hours and costs £42, but is free to under-18s and people on Jobseekers’ Allowance.
