An “eyesore” empty building in Shipley can be turned into offices after Bradford Council granted planning permission for change of use.
Mark Leese had applied for permission to turn 10-12 Commercial Street from restaurant use to offices that would bring ten full-time and four part-time jobs to that part of the town.
Planning officer Peter Timbrell said: “The present vacancy and apparent deterioration of this building lends nothing to the appearance and attractiveness of this part of Shipley town centre.”
