Last year Gaia Holmes was one of four West Yorkshire writers who ventured to walk the Stanza Stones trail from Marsden to Ilkley in three days.
Although she had to abandon the last leg of the walk she did give a reading on the last night of the Ilkley literature Festival, principally from her recent book of poems, Lifting the Piano with One Hand.
She will be doing more from this collection on Monday night at Bradford’s New Beehive Inn, Westgate. This book was published some seven years after her debut collection, Dr James Graham’s Celestial Bed.
Robert Maslen will also be taking part in the evening which starts at 8.30pm.
