A 21-year-old man has been banned from driving and warned by a judge he may be locked up when he is sentenced for aggravated vehicle taking on March 28.
Wajid Hussain, of Cunliffe Terrace, Manningham, Bradford, crashed into another vehicle after driving dangerously across Bradford on February 9.
His bail was lengthened at Bradford Crown Court yesterday after Judge Colin Burn imposed an interim driving ban.
He adjourned the case for a report from the probation service, warning Hussain that all options were open to the sentencing judge, including custody.
Hussain pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicle taking, that included dangerous driving, and to driving without insurance.
The court heard he drove an Audi dangerously on Carlisle Road, Manningham, and on streets up to and including the city’s Canal Road. He crashed into a VW Golf while committing the offences.
