Mature models, ‘dressed’ in natural materials such as twigs, grass and leaves, have been photographed on Ilkley Moor for a new exhibition.
Norwegian photographer Karoline Hjorth and Finnish artist Riitta Ikonen have been on the moor this week capturing images for a new series of work for their exhibition, Eyes as Big as Plates.
The images are part of a series which have been photographed in New York, Finland and Norway, drawing inspiration from Nordic folklore.
The UK premiere of the exhibition forms part of Juncture, a contemporary arts and movement festival in Leeds until March 15. Eyes as Big as Plates will be displayed at the Tetley Gallery. For more about the festival, visit juncturedance.com.
