Carers who have learned new skills while looking after a loved one are showcasing their talent in a new venture.
Shipley-based charity the Carers’ Resource has opened a ‘pop-up’ shop in Market Street, Bradford, selling products including jewellery, gingerbread, cards and paintings.
The shop, called Create, includes crafts made by more than 20 local carers. Among them is Maureen Barton, of Clayton Heights, who cares for her husband and makes her own jewellery.
