Haworth parish council chairman expresses Tour de France toilet concerns

Bradford Telegraph and Argus: Councillor John Huxley Councillor John Huxley

A council chairman said he was anxious whether there would be enough toilets for the thousands of Tour de France spectators expected at Haworth.

Councillor John Huxley, of Haworth, Cross Roads and Stanbury Parish Council, said he understood huge numbers of people could flock to the Cemetery Road area alone.

“My concern is where the hell are they going to go to the toilet?” he said.

“We could have a major health issue. I hope Bradford is going to provide a lot of temporary toilets.”
