Midwives from Bradford Royal Infirmary's Birth Centre have been shortlisted for a prestigious top team of the year award.
Eight of them will be heading to London tonight for a glitzy ceremony at the British Journal of Midwifery magazine’s national awards in Piccadilly.
They are up against colleagues from Sheffield Teaching Hospital's city-wide One-to-One team and the Great Expectations team from Derriford Hospital near Plymouth.
Since BRI's new birth centre opened in November 2012, 2,130 babies have been born there. Consultant midwife Alison Brown said: “We're all over the moon. We're excited about being shortlisted, we feel as though we’ve won already."
BBC One Show roving reporter Anita Rani, from Bradford, was at the official opening of the centre when she was pictured, centre, with the team.
