A drop-in session is being held at Shipley Library tomorrow for people interested in finding out about volunteering.
The session, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, will provide information on more than 3,000 opportunities in the district. It is organised by Bradford Volunteer Centre in association with Shipley Library.
Volunteer Centre director Dave Forrest said: “Volunteering is not just about helping out in charity shops or shaking a tin. Organisations are looking for people to teach IT to carers, support victims of crime, drive isolated older people to social groups and much more.
“In return, volunteers can gain new skills or boost their chances of finding work.”
