A group to help people shed pounds and maintain their weight loss is being launched in Keighley.

The free sessions will offer personalised support and advice.

Keighley Healthy Living (KHL) is running the programme, which has been developed by Bradford Council’s public health team.

The new 12-week course, which begins on April 28, follows the success of a first series of sessions which started in January.

Kerry Page, a nutritionist and food and activity co-ordinator at KHL, in Scott Street, said: “This programme has a holistic approach to weight loss and wellbeing. Participants don’t get put onto a specific diet but instead learn the knowledge and skills which enable them to make healthier lifestyle choices.”
