This month’s Otley Word Feast will feature talks on everything from an epic motorcycle trip to local history.
The 2014 Feast runs from Friday, March 28 to Sunday, March 30 and will as always revolve around a variety of creative writing workshops.
But the organisers believe the guest speakers it has booked will also deliver some of the highlights this year.
The talks will include:
- Don't Forget the Divi, featuring stories about the Co-operative movement by BBC producer and former MEP Michael McGown
- Local writer Noel Whittall recounting his experiences travelling over the Alps on a 95 year old Triumph motorbike, in An Alpine Thing to Do
- Historian Paul Wood explaining how his A Guide to the Townscape of Otley covers eight centuries of local architecture and archaeology.
