Heather to patrol home territory
A new face is serving with the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) in the Worth Valley.
PC Heather Clapham, who joined the force 12 years ago, had been deployed mainly in Bingley since becoming part of the local NPT in January, 2011.
But now she has taken over the reins in the Worth Valley, replacing PC Richard Oddy, who has moved to Bingley Rural ward.
PC Clapham, who is also the Horsewatch officer, said: “I've lived in the Worth Valley for some time now, so I’m passionate about the area.”
