Heavy rain is set to sweep across the region yet again today with snow expected across higher areas, including the Pennines.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning across West Yorkshire, which will be in place from 12noon to 11.45pm tonight.

A Met Office spokesman said: “The public should be aware of the potential for very poor conditions and disruption to travel due to snow as well as temporary blizzard conditions over the higher routes, due to strong winds accompanying the system.”

The forecast for Bradford is for heavy rain today and tomorrow with gusts of up to 36mph today and 37mph tomorrow.
