A Bradford retail expert has teamed up with ‘Welcome to Yorkshire’ to help out high streets across the county.
Kate Hardcastle, a founding partner of Insight With Passion and non-executive director of the Bradford Bulls, will visit Leeds, York, Bridlington and Rotherham to run business events dubbed ‘Creating a Sizzling Sales Success’.
She will cover topics such as how to create an excellent experience for the customer, and understanding consumer needs to increase sales.
"This is about drawing on experience to help our Yorkshire businesses go on to the next level and raise the bar nationally, going from good to great when it comes to retail and customer service,” she said.
The events, taking place at The Tetley, Leeds, on March 4, The Park Inn by Radisson, York, on April 30, Sewerby Hall and Gardens, Bridlington, on September 16, and The Carlton Park Hotel, Rotherham, on November 18, are free for Welcome to Yorkshire members, with tickets available at yorkshire.com/memberevents.
