Bradford primary schools are hoping to see their names added to the world record books after they took part in an event to raise awareness of sign language.

Sign2sign was a charity event to have the most people signing and singing a song on the same day.

Five Bradford schools took part – Brackenhill Primary in Dracup Road, Frizinghall Primary in Salisbury Road, Girlington Primary in Girlington Road, Keelham Primary at Well Heads, and Southfield Secondary in Haycliffe Lane.

SignHealth is collating figures from all the schools and organisations that took part, and is expecting to record that about 120,000 people participated.
