Parents bundled their child out of a back bedroom window to escape a car fire which threatened to engulf their home. Odsal firefighters attended the 11.23pm on Tuesday blaze at Pearson Row, Wyke, where heat from a burning Ford Fiesta had cracked the windows of a house and melted its guttering. The family made their way from the building and gone to the safety of neighbours.
