Keighley store provides food to Oxenhope children

First published in News

A Keighley supermarket is helping keep children in Oxenhope fuelled up for play.

The Sainsbury’s has provided fresh fruit and raisins for youngsters at Oxenhope Pre-School Group.

Parents are collecting the Sainsbury’s Active Kids vouchers which will entitle them to free sports equipment or healthy eating materials.

The group, which meets at Oxenhope Community Centre, has been run by a volunteer committee of parents since it was set up by village mothers in 1960.

It currently operates the Early Years Foundation Stage programme and offers learning through play to about 24 children aged two and above.
