A couple who had four of their border terriers stolen from their home have been reunited with one of the dogs.

Andrea Jones said two-year-old female Cleo was found wandering in Whetley Lane, Bradford, last Monday by a BT engineer. She said Cleo was in a good condition, but added that she and her partner Mark remain worried and frustrated about the uncertain fate of their three other dogs.

The dogs were stolen from the garden of their owners’ house in Riddlesden sometime between 11pm on January 14 and 6.15am on January 15.

As well as Cleo, the thieves also took her two-and-a-half-year-old offspring Bolt, who is male, and Poppy, a pregnant female. The other stolen border terrier is an unrelated two-year-old male called Romsay.

She and her partner have set up a Facebook page, Please help find our stolen border terriers, to draw attention to their plight.

People with information on the border terriers which are still missing are asked to contact the police on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
