Free cancer information and support is coming to the Bradford area early next month.

Macmillan Cancer Support’s mobile service is to visit Shipley with a team of specialists offering confidential advice and support to anyone with a concern or a question relating to cancer.

People with personal concerns or relatives and friends of those affected can board the Macmillan bus to talk to the team. No appointment is necessary. Throughout February, Macmillan is spreading the word about how being physically active when living with or after cancer can help make a positive change to people’s lives.

A spokesman said: “Even the smallest increase in physical activity can improve your quality of life.” The mobile service will be outside Shipley Library in Wellcroft between 10am and 4pm on Thursday, February 6.
