Keith Moran is a real brick when it comes to entertaining children.

He is using Lego to encourage youngsters to learn as they play together, turning up at children’s groups wearing a giant Lego head and with a pile of bricks to play with.

Bricks 4 Kidz sessions help teach youngsters about engineering, science, technology and maths.

Keith, 38, added: “It teaches children about following instructions, working together, using their hands and communicating.”

Keith said he and his son Ronnie, three, love Lego.

He added: “At the moment, Ronnie likes building it and knocking it down. When I first walked in with my head on he started laughing.”

Keith recently became one of the first people in the country to take up a local franchise for the Bricks 4 Kidz company. He said sessions are ideal for after-school clubs, pre-schools, summer camps and young uniformed groups.

Keith plans to run free weekly events at Central Hall in Alice Street, with a taster from 10am to 2pm on Tuesday, February 25.
