A Keighley filmmaker will lead a graphic novel workshop in Bradford on Saturday.

Chris Lackey (pictured), originally from Illinois, will give people a free introduction to the production of a graphic novel.

The 1pm workshop is open to anyone aged over 14 who likes graphic novels and comics, enjoys drawing, or simply wants to try something new.

Chris’s latest graphic novel Transreality, with scenes set in Keighley, tells of a man who believes he is living his everyday life in present-day Yorkshire.

But he discovers a universe of splintered cultures, artificial intelligence, uplifted animals and virtual worlds.

The workshop is at Bradford City Library. Anyone wishing to reserve a place should call 01535 618211 or email dionne.hood@bradford.gov.uk.
