She was a front-seat passenger in a Citroen Picasso which collided with a Smart car on Keighley Road, at its junction with Emm Lane, at 4.45pm yesterday.

The woman, believed to be in her 30s, is said to have suffered a chest injury. She was also in shock, said a fire service spokesman, who said she was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary.

A man and three children who were also in the car were not injured.
