Manningham mail order company boss fraud trial date
9:00am Tuesday 28th January 2014 in News
A Bradford mail order company boss, accused of a £668,000 fraud against the Royal Mail, has been sent to the crown court for trial.
Mrs Bouch sent the case to Bradford Crown Court and granted Naveed unconditional bail until the next hearing there on February 10.
Naveed, of Wilmer Drive, Heaton, Bradford, faces a charge of fraud by false representation.
It is alleged that, between April 30, 2011, and March 1, 2012, he claimed he had paid, or intended to pay, full postal services provided by Royal Mail, when he had not, intending to make a gain for himself or another, and expose Royal Mail to a risk of loss of £668,125.61, contrary to sections 1 and 2 of the Fraud Act 2006.
