Almost 100 pupils from across Bradford and Sheffield have trained to become anti bullying ambassadors at an event in Lidget Green Primary School.

Primary and secondary aged pupils, including 15 from Lidget Green, were invited to the event - part of the Diana Award.

Pupils and school staff, looked at bullying and how the ambassadors could help stamp it out.

They also took part in games and team building exercises, one involving a large parachute (above).

Teacher Louise Chapman said: “We have had a fantastic day learning about the serious consequences bullying can have, and how our pupils can make a real difference and help to stop bullying in positive ways.”

Earlier the school won second place in a national anti bullying competition for an anti-bullying week in November.
