15 is that all, put some effort into it! 1500 would be nearer the mark in Bradford on any given day. Missing a trick here BFD Councill the monie received would go a long way to paying Union wages.

They need to get on Manningham lane between Tesco Express and Toys R Us on an evening after 6pm, the parking and bad driving is terrible, causing untold misery to law abiding drivers.

I wish the police would apply all the parking restrictions across the whole of the district.
When I was younger, if you parked a car on a road with a 40mph at night you had to leave your lights on. Likewise you had to park facing the direction of traffic or if you parked the wrong way you had to leave your lights on.
Likewise I was taught not to park within 32' of a junction, 10m in new money. No wonder there are so many accidents, you can't see to pull out!
Come on West Yorkshire Constabulary, do something about it.

wow excellent work.....NOT. The police have nothing better to do like find the druggies and boy racers who drive past our streets day in night out excessive speeding. dangerous driving trying to get attention. All they can do is set up a stupid operation in the city centre where they got a lousy 15 fines. very usfull use of resources. so thats prob 18 odd patrol cars and half the forces on foot patrol. parking prices is on the rise.

I guess if you were a city centre resident in one of the many apartments near the city centre you might think tackling the parking problem was a job well done.
The Twitter page from RPU, I think I used to call them traffic cops, seems to reflect more of what they do, stolen and uninsured cars feature very often, they don't mention dealing with parking much.

It doesn't mention the Police, it says Officers from the special constabulary and wardens from the council. As far as I was aware parking infringements are dealt with solely by Bradford council nowadays.

if we are having a crackdown on illegal parking lets have it done where it happens day in day out. lets see you on Manchester rd by the yorkshire bank and on duckworth/toller lane. there are complained about on the forum very regularly so its not as if you don't know.
then lets get on with a crackdown in other areas like flytipping, but not passing once and saying we were there, do it all the time and fine them heavily. same with all the houses with items of furniture in the front garden. if the owner says i'm waiting for the council to pick it up CHECK while there, if there's no record fine them.
about time you did your job and not just on motorists, then maybe we will see a thriving Bradford, not the dying duck we have now.
