Residents in part of Keighley are being invited to support their community by going into business.

People in the town’s Bracken Bank area will be shown how to become the “next big thing” at an information session on Friday on the estate. Bracken Bank and District Community Association has teamed up with union GMB to run the session.

The organisations are looking for individuals and groups who would like to become entrepreneurs.

A spokesman said: “There is a potential for money to be awarded to forward-thinking groups, and support setting up in business.”

Friday’s session is at the Sue Belcher Centre on Bracken Bank Avenue, from10am to 2pm.
