Five men were in police custody today after they were arrested in connection with the shooting of a man at a Bradford shop.
The five men, aged between 41 and 24, were arrested early today on suspicion of conspiracy to commit attempted murder.
It follows the shooting of a 42-year-old man by a masked gunman at a shop, which was being refurbished, in Little Horton Lane, at around 7.45pm last Saturday.
The victim was hit three times and suffered a serious wound to his chest and minor injuries to his leg and arm. He has undergone surgery in hospital and remains in a stable condition today.
The suspects are also being questioned on suspicion of conspiracy to commit arson with intent to endanger life, after a fire at the same premises on December 21.
Police today also carried out a raid at a flat above a mobile phone shop in Little Horton Lane.
Uniformed and plain-clothed officers were searching the premises above Rainbow Phones. Two vans and a dog unit were parked outside.
