A Polish and Slovakian interpreter is sharing her experiences of working with Eastern European families in Bradford to help highlight issues they face accessing local health services.
Bradford City Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has invited Beata Janus to its governing body meeting tonight to tell them about the differences between the health system in Poland and the NHS in this country.
The Bradford clinical commissioners want to hear more about Eastern Europeans’ expectations and experiences of the care that they receive in the district.
The CCG also wants to find out about some of the barriers around language and culture and how they can be tackled.
