Animal lovers across the Bradford district are being urged to donate their unwanted Christmas gifts to help raise funds for poorly pets.
The People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals, which has a centre in Lorne Street, Bradford, provides free veterinary treatment for the sick and injured pets of people in need.
On average, every bag donated to PDSA is worth £12 to the charity.
Sally White, head of retail, said: “Christmas is a magical time of year, but there are always a few gifts that don’t quite take our fancy. So, why not donate them to PDSA and help raise funds for sick and injured pets in your local area.”
