Classic car club The Reliant Sabre & Scimitar Owners Club raised £530 at their pre-Christmas party in Beverley in East Yorkshire and donated the money to the Annette Fox Leukaemia Research Fund at the Bradford Royal Infirmary.
It was in memory of Jill Rothwell who died in 1997 aged 43.
The presentation was made by Jill’s nine-year-old grandaughter Phoebe Rothwell-Knee to Dr Liakat Parapia, of the Annette Fox Leukaemia Research Fund.
