The defendant received a conditional discharge from magistrates
A student who damaged two front doors has been conditionally discharged for 12 months after pleading guilty to criminal damage.
Danny Butterfield, 36, of Templars Way, Fairweather Green, Bradford, attacked the doors in Airedale Avenue, Cottingley, Bingley, on December 13.
Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court heard yesterday Butterfield caused the damage after visiting his now former partner.
Householders Shelly Bland and Sarah Mackinder were each awarded £100 compensation and Butterfield must also pay £85 court costs.
The court was told Butterfield was now separated from his partner and was very remorseful.
