Young carers in Bradford enjoyed a Christmas party to remember.
Sixty children in the Bradford Young Carers Service attended the party with families at the Dubrovnik Hotel in Manningham to enjoy food, a disco, presents and a visit to Santa’s grotto after the charity was nominated for support by Yorkshire Building Society (YBS) staff across the Bradford area.
YBS Charitable Foundation donated £1,100.
Bradford area mobile customer consultant mortgage at YBS Sarah Ainge said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have been able to help give young carers and their families a day to remember this Christmas.”
Peter Rutherford, children’s service manager at Barnardo’s Bradford Young Carers Service, said: “We can’t thank the Bradford area of Yorkshire Building Society enough for nominating our service to benefit from this generous donation.”
