A man who was seen getting into a car in a distressed state in Bradford on Sunday evening has been found safe and well.

Detectives investigating reports of a man being shoved into the back of a car, close to the Craven Heifer pub, at the junction of Manchester Road and Smiddles Road, today confirmed the alleged victim had come forward.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said he spoke to officers about the incident before being released.

Three men, aged 25, 28 and 62, as well as a 59-year-old woman, remain in custody this morning in connection with the incident and inquiries are ongoing.
