An Otley playground is in line for a revamp.
Leeds City Council is to use funding generated by a recent housing development on Leeds Road on refurbishing Wellcroft play area.
Ward Councillors Ryk Downes and Sandy Lay (both Lib Dem, Otley & Yeadon) welcomed the news.
Coun Lay said: “The play area is beginning to look a little tired so this money will help to bring new facilities to this popular facility.”
Coun Downes said: “I know residents have asked about development and we hope everyone will let us know what they think.”
