Cullingworth residents have taken on the management of the village beauty spot known as The Dell.
Cullingworth Village Council this month formally handed over responsibility to the Friends of the Dell.
The group was formed earlier this year with support from Bradford Council – which owns the wood off Greenside Lane – and the Village Council, which has provided kickstart money.
