Charity fundraisers have been teeing off for a worthy cause. Members of the Acorn charity, raising funds for people with dementia and their carers in Harrogate, Ripon and Wetherby and Scleroderma research at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, held their annual charity golf day at Ilkley Golf Club. Sixty-seven golfers participated in the event, which raised £4,000 for the charities.
