Make Bradford British star Rashid Khan is to brave Europe’s longest zip line to raise funds for victims of Typhoon Haiyan, the storm that battered the Philippines.
He will be part of a team of 50 who will attempt complete the 500ft high, mile-long zip line in Snowdonia on Sunday reaching speeds of up to 100mph for Wakefied-based Penny Appeal’s Philippines Emergency Appeal.
Mr Khan said: “I feel we all need to pull together as a community and as a family to help the communities and families out there.”
