Man is held after Bradford arson attack
A man has been arrested after an arson attack at a flat in Bradford.
Firefighters were called to a blaze on Brookfield Road, Barkerend, at about 1.50am on Sunday.
A 56-year-old Polish woman and her 19-year-old son were trapped in the first-floor flat. The son is believed to have jumped to safety from a window. A 27-year-old man was arrested near the scene on Sunday. He was bailed.
Police are also investigating a fire at about 1am on Sunday at a flat in Amberley Court, Thornbury. A 48-year-old woman was rescued unharmed.
