More than 280 shoppers queued outside Skipton’s new Aldi store, on Keighley Road, before the outlet was officially opened by store manager Mark Vine.
To celebrate the grand opening, the first 100 shoppers received Golden Ticket prizes, with Charlotte Marshall taking home the star prize of a 40-inch HD ready TV. The new store – which has created 25 jobs – covers 990 square metres and has 86 car parking spaces.
