Detectives investigating a “frightening” sexual assault in Frizinghall have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.
The man, who is believed to be in his early 20s, is pictured on the 662 bus from Bradford Interchange towards Shipley.
It was the same bus the 20-year-old victim was travelling on moments before she was attacked on Beamsley Road at about 6.15pm on Sunday.
Det Insp Neil Benstead, of Bradford District CID, said: “The attack was a frightening ordeal for the victim, who has been spoken to by specially trained officers.
“We are very keen to trace this man, who we believe is local to the area, and would also appeal to anyone else who travelled on the 662 bus from Bradford to Shipley at about 5.30pm on Sunday.
“These people might not have witnessed anything more than seeing this man on the bus, but they may have vital information.”
